Young Parents Pathway is an award winning specialist support service in South Tyneside for vulnerable young families aged between 16 and 25, with a range of complex needs and at risk of being made homeless.

We are a supported housing service which is part of the Places for People Group. Many of our customers that are referred to this service have little or no support and may have no experience of living independently.

Our aim

The main aim of the Young Parents Support Service is to provide customers with the key skills and development they require to confidently live in the community, with good parenting skills, whilst creating a safe and secure environment for their family.

What do we offer?

In all our accommodation based services, young parents have their own self-contained two bedroomed, fully furnished flat. As well as accommodation we have a range of activities and facilities available.
